That is a sure fire indication that the rings are gone. If taking a heat torch to he backside of the clutch to heat up the bolts to losen up the lock tight make you qweezy then it would make sense to have someone do it for you . That is the single best thing I did to my 03. Once your rings fail you I would definately spend the extra dough and put the cudney piston and ring kit in.
